North Main Street is scheduled to be closed for several months from Mountain Street to Railroad Street. Pedestrian access will be kept open where feasible and businesses are encouraged to utilize rear and side accesses where possible. The Kernersville Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of business and professional men and women who have joined together for the purpose of promoting the civic and commercial progress of our community.
2008 Board of Directors We have been playing a vital role in the growth and development of our community since September 1968. The Chamber of Commerce works with all companies, newcomers and residents to promote a healthily business community, to develop area leadership, and to maintain a desirable "quality of life".
The chamber is directed by a 13-member board of directors and officers elected annually by approximately 400 members.
