Kernersville Dance Company Named May Business of the Month

The Kernersville Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize Kernersville Dance Company as the May Business of the Month. Located in the heart of downtown at 112 South Main Street, Kernersville Dance Company has been bringing energy, creativity, and community spirit to the area since it was founded in July 2020 by Lauren and Daniel Reel, who continue to own and operate the business today.

With a dedicated team of 13 employees, the company offers a wide range of programs including dance, tumble, and cheer classes, as well as themed summer camps, birthday party packages, and Parents’ Night Out events. Their talented instructional staff includes dance instructors Sam Bridge, Adrienne Rogers, Cheyenne Ramsay, and tumble instructor Jordan Wallen.

In addition to providing top-tier instruction, Kernersville Dance Company plays an active role in the local community. Their performance troupe can be seen at local events throughout the year, spreading joy and showcasing the hard work of their dancers. Each summer, the company hosts an open house and raffle, with 100% of proceeds going to a local cause—and one lucky winner receiving a free year of dance.

As proud third-year members of the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce, the company has participated in several Chamber-sponsored events, including performances at the Spring Folly, Christmas Parade, and Annual Tree Lighting.

Looking ahead, Kernersville Dance Company is excited to launch its competition dance team this fall, while continuing to offer recreational classes and expand its beloved performance troupe. Their mission remains clear: to provide quality and affordable dance instruction in a modest and loving environment.

The team at Kernersville Dance Company is grateful for the unwavering support of the Kernersville community, and they extend an open invitation to dancers of all ages—from 18 months to 100 years old.
