Professional Bio
I am a passionate advocate for senior living. This segment of the senior services industry is incredibly rich and complex. It can be powerful and transformative, especially for those who are open to the experience. In recent years, however, I feel that uninformed voices have allowed misinformation to create a false narrative that dismiss the countless anecdotes of love, compassion, and sacrifice that define our industry. Therefore, I channel my passion into a drive to balance misrepresentation and paint a picture of how these communities raise the quality of life for seniors and their loved ones. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work in these remarkable spaces with these extraordinary people.
My experience in public relations, marketing, education, human relations, and advocacy will elevate senior living and the greater community. My personal drive to build a compassionate community for all of us, and to create aging-in-place solutions designed to maintain independence and pride.
In addition to my senior industry experience, I am a nationally-certified counselor (NCC). I received my license in May 2004, and I am looking forward to working with clients to find meaning and greater insight into life events. My focus is on caregivers and LGBTIQ issues.
