EIPD Open House

EIPD (formerly Vocational Rehabilitation) Open House Executive Summary October is NDEAM (National Disabilities Employment Awareness Month) and to celebrate my co-workers and I are hosting a disability awareness and inclusion (Windmills) session to help employers understand the benefits of hiring people with disabilities. We will explain EIPD (Employment and Independence for People with Disabilities) services and how we can assist an employer fill a vacancy while meeting our clients’ employment goals. Our vocational rehabilitation counselors will present the referral process and answer any questions.

8-830: Breakfast/refreshments

830-9: What is VR? Plus Ask-it-Basket (questions will be answered at end of open house, from 1230 to 1pm).

9-11: The Story & Reasonable Accommodations (Windmills disability/sensitivity training) 11-1130 Lunch (TBA)

1130 to 1230pm – Counselor Panel (Transition, IL & General Adult, Deaf & Hard of Hearing)
