Girls on the Run of the Greater Piedmont

Girls on the Run of the Greater Piedmont serves girls in 3rd-8th grade in Alexander, Forsyth, Iredell and Rowan Counties. Girls on the Run is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. At Girls on the Run we inspire ALL girls to build confidence and make intentional decisions, while fostering care and compassion for self and others. Trained coaches use physical activity and dynamic discussions to build social, emotional and physical skills in every girl while encouraging healthy habits for life. We believe in the limitless potential of each girl we serve and focus on unique strengths and abilities. Girls on the Run of the Greater Piedmont fosters an inclusive environment and offers the opportunity for all girls to participate, regardless of financial limitations, through financial assistance.
