Serving the Triad since 1983, ACE-HTI has a rich history rooted in innovation and community. The company was formed by the merging of Advanced Consumer Electronics, founded in 1983, and Heritage Technologies Inc., founded by Chip Atkinson in the 1990s. Today, ACE-HTI stands as a premier North Carolina-based technology company, offering a wide range of security, fire alarm, access control, camera systems, audio-video, and networking solutions.
The company was founded by Jay Stone, Charlie Atkinson, and Mark Waterfield. Stone and Atkinson remain actively involved in daily operations, leading a dedicated team of 23 employees who bring years of experience and industry knowledge to the table.
In 2021, ACE-HTI consolidated its offices and relocated to Kernersville, strategically positioning itself in the heart of the Triad community to better serve Central North Carolina. The decision to move stemmed from a commitment to embracing a hybrid work environment while maintaining a strong connection to the communities it serves.
ACE-HTI is committed to making a difference locally. The company supports organizations such as Toys for Tots and Crossnore Children’s Home, demonstrating a dedication to giving back. Although not yet deeply involved with the Chamber of Commerce, the team has participated in lunch-and-learn sessions at the Gardens, with plans to expand its community engagement efforts in the future.
Looking ahead, ACE-HTI aims to grow its Fire Alarm Division and continue adding high-quality employees to its already exceptional team. The company takes pride in offering superior technical installation, in-house help desk support for monitored clients, and 24/7 technical support from its service technicians.
