You may see the trucks around town with TCC in big bold letters, this stands for The Community Chests Junk Removal & Demolition. TCC, founded in 2019, has been selected as the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month for March, an honor sponsored by The Kernersville News.

Co-owners Nik Grundseth and Mason Eades lead TCC with a commitment to professionalism, sustainability, and community impact. The company offers full-service junk removal, demolition, and dumpster rentals, helping homeowners, businesses, and contractors clear out unwanted materials efficiently. More than just hauling away junk, TCC is dedicated to reducing landfill waste by recycling, reselling, and donating as much as possible.

With a growing team of seven dedicated professionals, including Senior Crew Leader Erick Castro, TCC services multiple counties across the Triad. Erick, the longest-tenured team member, plays a key role in daily operations, ensuring jobs are handled smoothly and efficiently.

Beyond business, TCC is deeply involved in giving back to the community. The company works with local nonprofits like Operation Inasmuch, volunteering twice a year to help repair and rebuild homes for those in need. They also play a major role in the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Recycle Day, assisting residents in responsibly disposing of items like televisions, computer screens, and batteries.

TCC’s sustainability mission extends to its quarterly warehouse sale, TCC Treasure Hunt, held at their Greensboro headquarters at 135 Montlieu Avenue. The event gives the community a chance to shop reclaimed and repurposed items, keeping usable goods out of landfills while offering great finds at affordable prices.

A fun fact about TCC? TCC has diverted over 10,000 items from reaching the landfill. And has recycled over 200 tons of concrete and metal.
